Tom & Tanya Edging are seasoned Christian ministers. Tanya is from Kyiv, Ukraine and Tom is an American who first visited Ukraine in 2002 on a short-term mission to work with orphans in Crimea. One of Tanya’s daughters, whom Tom had met on a short-term mission to the Odessa region in 2011, introduced the pair.
They developed an online relationship leading to marriage in 2013. As they have shared life they also share a love for Ukraine and its people. Since the beginning of the war in 2022 they have sought to help, sending money for necessities to friends and family and volunteering in America to raise funds and donations with a local non-profit. They also traveled to Ukraine in the summers of 2022 and 2023 to bring help, hope, and encouragement for family and friends.
During that trip they visited an orphanage in western Ukraine and spoke in churches in Warsaw, Poland, the Kherson region and the Kyiv region, Vinnytsia, and Slavutych. They believe that God has called them to pursue these activities at a greater level of involvement and frequency.
